So far there have been 16 days in July. Of these 16 days, it's been over 100 degrees for 15 of them, and it has also hit 110 during this time period. The current weather forecast is 105 every day for the coming week. I assume it's only going to get worse, since it's not August yet. Don't tell Anis I said any of this, or he'll give me a lecture about how cold Oklahoma is in comparison to Cairo.

This summer is turning out to be a repeat of last summer. It's gotten to around 110 each day since Saturday, and it's supposed to be like this until Friday.
I seem to remember when I went to Oklahoma for the REU program back in 2006, we came up with a temperature scale to describe the weather in Oklahoma. I tried looking for a thread here where it might have showed up but couldn't find it (though I did find this thread while looking for it).
