The lab across the hall from mine threw out a bunch of old computers, and in the pile, I found an IBM Model M keyboard made in 1987, with a PS/2 plug, so I'm now using it with the KVM switch that goes between my desktop computer and the zombie Macbook. ;D

Schweet! I have an old IBM keyboard, but I can't find a new AT to PS/2 adapter (they fail under their own weight after about three years), so it sits unused.

I've got a working AT to PS/2 connector that I'm not using (in fact I was planning on using it for the keyboard I found until I noticed it was already PS/2).
edit - on second thought, it's actually a PS/2 to AT connector...

I have a few of those myself, actually. Mostly junk, until I find an AT computer

There were a few computers in the pile. I wonder if they work. There were also two more old IBM keyboards. One had a manufacture date of 1985, the other was 1989. I haven't taken either of those from the pile, though I've been considering it. There was also an old two-button mouse. I didn't consider taking that...

Whee old computer stuff pile... We were touring the Battleship Wisconsin, and they had some old computers on there, complete with DeathMatrix printers, computers made by Honeywell, and 5.25" floppy disks Unfortunately for me, I forgot to wear the shirt I got a little while back that has a picture of a floppy disk and reads "Kids these days don't know what this is!"
